Partly, due to changes in diagnostic criteria, fewer people qualify, but there seems to be evidence that many people have been falsely diagnosed &#8211; or not diagnosed at all &#8211; as neurotypical. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>One of the inherent challenges for neurotypicals is that there are so many of them. There simply are not enough trained therapists to properly diagnose all the neurotypicals, even though they deserve proper diagnosis and treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some suggest that as few as 35 of 36 are neurotypical! This is a far cry from the sombre stats of past decades. Imagine if, somehow, that percentage  gets even lower!
